Okay which crib would be better, should I purchase  a 3 in 1  convertible crib or a drop side crib? The convertible crib generally boasts static sides without any moving parts. Initially the 3 in 1 convertible crib initially costs more than a drop side crib, but because the 3 in 1 convertible bed can be used as  daybed, twin or full size bed. During the life of your infant   you will be saving money as you will not have to buy a new bed as your child gets older. If you purchase a  drop side crib you will have to buy another bed when the child is two or three, making the drop side crib a more expensive purchase.
