   This is not a review on the crib itself. I am sure that it is a lovely crib and wish that i could have gotten it. I am stationed overseas at an APO address and even though it is stated that Amazon will ship it to an APO address they would not. I recieved horrible service from Amazon with this order. I ordered both the crib and the matching changing table on the 17th of May. Amazon then proceeded to take the money out of my account for the items 4 times! They kept putting off the shipment date and I had to contact them to fix the problem concerning my account. They apologized and corrected the problem with the over charges. They then cancelled my order and had me re-order the crib and changing table again. SO i did and had to contact them letting them know that there was a price change in the changing table that i felt i shouldn’t pay since i had ordered the table before the price went up. They changed the price and told me that my order would be shipped soon. SO i waited for them to ship it. In the first week of June i happened to check my checking balance (something i don’t do often) and saw that they again had overcharged my card 4 times. Before i could contact them i recieved an email saying that they were cancelling my order due to insuffient funds. Well with them taking the money out 4 times it totalled to well over $1000 so yea there would be little in my account after that. They then tried to cancel my order because they were trying yet again to charge me a 5th time for both items. I contacted them again and instead of fixing the problem as they had done the first time they told me that pending payments did not count against balances in banking accounts. Let me just say NOT TRUE! After they did what they did i only had $75 in my account! They told me that i would have to contact my bank to delete the pending payments and when i contacted my bank they told me that it was actually the merchant (Amazon) that had to contact them. I then had to contact Amazon again and they said that they would take care of it. Instead they only gave my bank the authority to remove one of the charges. B/c they wouldn’t give my bank anymore information I had to wait 4 days after each charged date for the amount to drop off my account! They then sent me an email saying that again there was a problem with my order and to please re-order my items. By this time it was around June 12th almost a month since i had first ordered the item, so i didn’t bother re-ordering the crib or changing table. I then looked elsewhere. I just felt that i needed to leave a comment expressing the horrible service i got so another Mother or Father stationed overseas looking for nursery items won’t get screwed over like i did. It’s extremely hard to get anything shipped overseas and i wouldn’t want someone wasting thier time with Amazon. I couple that also stationed here with me had almost the same problem with Amazon as i had for a different crib.

   This crib was easy to put together and looks great. The height of it is perfect so I won’t be straining my back to get to my baby. The section underneath allows for extra storage which is much needed in a baby’s room. I fully recommend this crib and would definietly buy this again.

   We love our crib. It was fairly easy to put together, and arrived in excellent condition, save a small ding or two that you can hardly see. The drawer isn’t the greatest…it’s VERY hard to pull out, and we won’t be able to store much in it as it obviously won’t be able to hold much weight. I actually can see us getting rid of it in the future, as it serves more as a toe-stubber than a storage area. But the crib itself we love. It’s very sturdy, and the color is beautiful. I anticipate it holding up well with our baby. (Would’ve given it 5 stars if the drawer was more functional).

   We ordered this crib because the price, style and color were right. However, the wood is very poor quality as is the drawer bottom. There are pre-drilled holes in the crib, some holes were in the incorrect place while other holes were drilled right over other holes making the hole way too big for the screw. Once piece of wood came with a huge crack down the middle of it. Don’t waste your money on this.

   The crib is good so far (lol still no baby to put in it though) it was easy to assemble. The only thing I dont like about it is that the screws are exposed on the front and sides. I would have likes some covers to put over them, it isnt a safety thing it is just a cosmetic thing. Oh and it does scratch and dent really easly, but I think that is the case with most cribs.
